My advice for you for next year for the blogging assignment
I think 6-10 books is a lot unless you read small paged books. I work at my own pace. I can be pretty slow. What's worst is that I'm really picky so I change my book too much. But other than that I think this blogging is good. It helps you see what's your strength and weakness.
Thoughts on blogging
I think blogging is great. It's better than writing on paper and handing it in that's boring. You express yourself more through blogs and it's a good strategy to encourage you to read. It made me want to read and try out all different types of books to see what really works for me. What interest me more. I zone out really easily and lose interest. Blogging helped keep me interested because I wrote what I thought and felt while reading.

My Sister's Keeper By Jodi Picoult
Pg 367
Anna gives Kate a bone marrow transplant. Her father rewarded her for giving Kate a gift. I'm surprised. Kate's white blood cell count begins to rise, proof of engraftment. But that doesn't last.. So they end up taking Anna to a child psychiatrist. They prepare a report giving an expert opinion about psychological harm Anna might suffer if her sister dies. It's crazy how there's probably no hope anymore. Just prepare for the worst..

My Sister's Keeper By Jodi Picoult
Pg 74
Chemo worked but now there's a tumor. The cancer metastasized. Dr. Chance in other words is trying to say that they should prepare for the worst. Sara (the mother) talks to the father about having another child. Why another child? To replace the one that's dying? The mentality of this women. It's a good thing the father doesn't agree it doesn't seem right. If this is her reaction to her dying child what will be her reaction once it actually happens?
My Sister's Keeper By Jodi Picoult
Pg 186
Kate doesn't know that her little sister hired a lawyer! The mother (Sara Fitzgerald) doesn't keep the peace and bothered Anna, so Julia doesn't either. Sara could end up losing Anna if she doesn't corporate. Her mother wants her to call off the lawsuit and keeps telling her she'll end up all alone without no mom no nothing. Anna is feeding into it after all she is only 13 years old. She scared she'll have no family again or that everyone in her family will end up hating her and that she could lose everything she'd grown to love and the people around her. She needs the lawyers to really defend her because she doesn't know how to yet. The mom is taking advantage. She can't get away with this.
My Sister's Keeper By Jodi Picoult
Pg 207
Mr. Chance tells everyone that Kate isn't strong enough to go through anymore stuff. She's too weak she's going to die. Mr. Chance says that the mom (Sara Fitzgerald) keeps pushing for the kidney transplant. Julia says you can't blame her logic, Kate's going to die anyway without the transplant so why not go for it? But then Mr. Chance says it involves major surgery for the other daughter. Putting Anna's health at risk for a procedure that's not necessary for her seems a little cavalier. Anxiety must be through the roof with this family.
My Sister's Keeper By Jodi Picoult
Pg 313
Anna gets told they don't know if they're still petitioning a judge for medical emancipation. She wonder why they wouldn't. The lawyer says the only way I can fight for you is if you can prove to everyone that you can fight for yourself when I walk away. Since Anna's still a kid everyone keeps trying to make her feel sorry or convince her into helping out Kate. That's going to make the lawyers not help her. So she has to stand her grown and fight for this and want this more than they want this.
